RCN endorses BSNA’s resources on parenteral nutrition: ensuring high quality throughout preparation, supply and administration

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) now endorse the British Specialist Nutrition Association’s animation (above) and accompanying information sheet on ‘parenteral nutrition: ensuring high quality throughout preparation, supply and administration’.

RCN endorsement means that these resources are fit for national/UK nursing practice and conform to RCN’s quality criteria for professional standards.

BSNA’s resources are an excellent introduction to the carefully controlled and regulated steps involved in the production, processing, delivery and administrations of parenteral nutrition (PN) for HCPs and patients alike.
