Parenteral nutrition webinar with Antje Teubner

Together with the BDA Oncology Group, we are delighted to announce two free webinars discussing at parenteral nutrition (PN) use in advanced cancer on Monday 24 February.

The first webinar will focus on decision making - should PN be started? This webinar will explore the rational and background of starting patients with advance malignancy on nutritional support. It will evaluate the different forms of nutritional support with the focus on PN. It will demonstrate and interrogate the existing guidelines available and relate this to the practice, along with providing key messages for managing patients with advance malignancies.

The second webinar will discuss how to facilitate PN in advanced Cancer, exploring the practicalities of establishing patients with advanced malignancies on PN support. We will demonstrate how team work can facilitate a smooth and uncomplicated discharge pathway, focusing particularly on the very difficult decision making of stopping PN support towards the end of life.
