BSNA welcomes the interim report from the CMA and the opportunity to engage with them further. Our priority is that families are able to access the support and information they need to give their babies a healthy start in life, whether they choose to breastfeed or use infant formula.
For parents who can’t or choose not to breastfeed, BSNA members provide a range of options backed by extensive scientific research and continuously innovate to support families. These products will continue to play a critical role in the health and nutrition of infants. So moving forward, it’s essential that parents are able to access clear and impartial information in order to make a decision on the formula that’s best for their little one. Our members welcome a constructive dialogue with the CMA and Government to ensure all families feel supported.
