BSNA RESPONDS TO PUBLICATION OF DHSC RESPONSE TO CMA MARKET STUDY ON INFANT FORMULA AND FOLLOW ON FORMULA

Responding to the publication of Government’s response to the CMA Market Study on infant formula and follow on formula report and recommendations for changes to the regulation of the infant formula market (3 December 2025), BSNA Director General, Declan O'Brien said,

"Our members are committed to supporting families in making feeding choices that suit their baby’s needs. 

We will continue to work closely with the Government to ensure that families are at the core of all decision making. 

Whether breastfeeding or using infant formula, all parents and carers should have access to the information and support they need to give their babies a healthy start in life.”
